The DVC Chapter of ISPE wanted to make you aware of this annual upcoming event from our Student Chapter, the 2010 Student Poster Competition.
What is the Student Poster Presentation?
The Student Poster Competition is an annual contest for both undergraduate and graduate students. Students prepare posters based on their research and present them to a panel of judges. Both the final graduate student winner and undergraduate student winner of the international competition receive cash awards, and have the opportunity to publish their materials in ISPE's magazine Pharmaceutical Engineering, as well as other Chapter/Affiliate publications. The poster presentation consists of a visual display of research or program highlights on a foamcore poster background, combined with an interactive question and answer period. This year's competition will be held at Villanova University on 22-Apr-2010.
Local Winners Advance:
All Student Members who have competed in a local Student Poster Competition may participate in the International Student Poster Competition at the ISPE Annual Meeting, to be held this year from 7-10 November 2010 in Orlando, Florida, USA. THE DVC will once again be sending both the undergraduate and graduate winners to present their posters at the ISPE Annual Meeting. Participants must be registered as ISPE Student Members prior to the competition.
Also note that Undergraduate and Graduate winners of the DVC competition will be sponsored by DVC to attend the international competition in Orlando in November.
