The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering Delaware Valley Chapter is proud to announce its 20th Annual Exhibitors Night to be held at the Hilton Hotel, City Line Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Highlights of this year's program are:
Topics for the R&D round tables are:
1. Sustainability in Labs: Energy conservation in labs ideas and lessons learned; Green chemistry and its effect on lab design. Leaders: Dr. Dennis Gross and Terry Jacobs, AIA
2. Topics around ASTM E2500: Should we eliminate IQ/OQ? Subject Matter Experts vs. Quality role? When is GEP data useable for Quality? Quality risk management for inspections. Leaders: Scott Runkle, Matt McMenamin, Jeremy Myers and Kevin Martin
3. Benchmarking/Lessons Learned/Post Mortem Project: What is working and what is not? How do you dissect the trends? Flexible casework - do you move it? Is it worth the expense? Leaders: Tom Kley and David W. Frenze, PE, LEED AP
· Attendees will be admitted FREE with pre-registration. There will be a $10.00 fee required at the door for those who do not pre-register.
· We are offering FREE parking to all attendees and exhibitors.
· We will be offering a shuttle service from the parking area to the hotel.
· Cocktails and a light fare of Hors d'oeuvres and gourmet delights will be offered in the Exhibit area throughout the evening to encourage attendee participation in the exhibits and remain in the exhibit hall for the duration of the event.
· Exhibitors will have an opportunity to sponsor any one of several Cocktail Bars, which will be positioned within the exhibition hall.
· Door prizes will be offered. Attendees will be given entry forms to be signed by 10 exhibitors. These entries will then be drawn throughout the evening with the winners receiving a panacea of different prizes. These same entries will be used to raffle Exhibitor supplied prizes. Exhibitors are encouraged to offer prizes for additional recognition. Also, there will be a raffle for the exhibitors as well.
· The DVC will also be hosting round table discussion that evening in an adjacent conference room. The topics will include two R&D topics and one C&Q topic.
· The first (25) Exhibitors, registered and paid, will be able to choose their booth location within the Exhibit Hall from the remaining locations available. Complimentary refreshments will be available to exhibitors during the set-up period.
We believe that these features will encourage attendee participation in the exhibition. We invite you to join us on February 9th to take part in this exciting evening.
